Candle care
For a great burn:
To get the best performance out of your candle, we recommend following the below steps.
Use a wick trimmer
Trim the wick to 5mm (1/4 inch) before each burn. This will minimise risk of soot and maintain a good flame height.
Preventing tunnelling
To prevent ‘tunnelling’, this is when a hard ring of unmelted wax forms around the edges of your candle, there are two things you can do:
1) Allow the wax to melt completely to the edges of the jar during the first burn
2) Avoid short burns. Ideally burn your candles for 2-4 hours a go.
- Never let your candle burn for more than four hours and extinguish when there is only 10mm wax left at the bottom
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
And for safety:
Don't let your candle fully burn
Stop the burn once you've down to the last 5-10mm of the wax / or when you can see the wick holder base at the bottom of your candle.
Only light on flat surfaces
Make sure to only light candles when placed on flat, heat-resistant surfaces.

Never leave your candle unattended
